Respite Care
Caring for a family member is hard work. You need breaks too.
Respite care gives family caregivers time to rest, work, run errands or travel while their loved one stays safe and comfortable at home.
Many families start with a few hours a week and adjust as needs change.

What's included
- Regular weekly shifts or one-time coverage
- Personal care, companionship and light housekeeping during each visit
- The same caregiver whenever possible
- Notes from each visit so you know how it went
Who it helps
- Spouses and adult children who provide daily care
- Families with work or travel commitments
- Caregivers who need time for their own health and appointments
How it works
After a free in-home consultation, we write a care plan with you listing the tasks, days and hours. Our registered nurse supervisor approves your caregiver's assignment, and we check in regularly to keep the plan current.
